Welcome to the city of Noraba, the last remaining city on the planet. Outside it's walls lays miles and miles of deserts and terrain where most canines fear to venture.
The dogs that make their homes in the city are lucky creatures - they don't have to face the dangers of the outside world. However, their human masters are slowly coming to extinction. Given another five years, the deadly disease that destroyed practically every species on the planet - except a few immune species - will claim the human race too. Luckily for the canids, they and a few other races of animals are unable to be infected by the disease, and so they will forever continue to survive on the planet - but this time they'll do it their way.
However, although the city dogs believe they are the only surviving canidaes left on the planet, they are far from it. Ferral dogs, released into the wilderness outside are grouping together, and when the gates are opened they will enter and mingle with the other canines.
The gangs are also beginning to form. The four original city dog groups, once abolished by the humans, are starting to flourish once more from the two-legs' turning a blind eye to their activity to try and find a cure for a disease which cannot be stopped. But there is more.
There are rumours of the Ferral dog groups who have entered the city, and canines of different bloodlines than had ever been seen before. Only a few have been spotted, these outsiders. But more will surely come.
